History
Save The Sea Islands was founded in 2017 somewhere between Cape Romain, Prices Inlet, and Sullivan's Island South Carolina. However our family history in the Sea Islands of South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida can be traced back to the early 1700's. Our mission began then, as our family lived out their lives on these islands. Their love of the Sea islands and inherent knowledge to protect the estuaries, marshes, and wetlands that surrounds the Sea islands has been passed down through generations and inspired us to influence others to join our cause.
savetheseaislands.org is IRS certified non-profit 501(c)3 organization determined to continue our family's mission that started so long ago. We will Save the Sea Islands of the Southeastern United States through public awareness campaigns, education, and various restoration projects.
